Lesvos

On the island of Lesvos olive cultivation remains a deeply traditional family affair, with absolute respect to the olive fruit and its origin. The nearly 11 million olive trees covering a good portion of the Lesvian land make olive oil production still the main occupation of the locals.

Lesvos is located in the north-western part of the Aegean Sea. After Crete and Evia, it is the third largest Greek island. Greece remains the No1 country in olive oil consumption and the 3rd largest olive oil producer world-widely.
